Pros

--Excellent work culture for beginner to mid-level career. Employees are very collaborative and support each other to learn and excel --Telecommunications domain, provides excellent platform to gain and master in this domain --High performers are most valued and taken care --Challenging and variety of options to choose --Client and business focused, several client facing opportunities --Competitive salary

Cons

--Corporate bureaucracy, Indian organization is completely controlled and dependent on America or Russia. Decision making always happens out side of India --Very flat structure, no career growth options for tech-savvy people --No priority or chances for Indian employees while filling positions in USA, UK or other countries --Poor travel policies, no motivation for long term on-site travelers

Pros

I am going to complete 10 Years with NetCracker. It just tells how best the work culture is. The growth, opportunities and best work culture @NetCracker makes you not to think much about other opportunities. Other highlights - a. Flexible and great work culture b. Pay for performance which is the one of the best way to recognize employee talent/skills c. A Friendly atmosphere and very helping nature among employees d. It is not just work, lot of fun (@ sports/cultural/diversity activities). It is up to you to take some time out from your regular work e. Many opportunities with many challenging and exciting roles in NC Telecom Domain (OSS/BSS world). It is up to you how much you grab!!!

Cons

- Many projects run in stringent timelines due to pressing client business needs, hence there are more chances of staying for long hours @work. In such cases, balance between work and personal life is required for the employee. Some times, employee end up long hours at work based on my personal experience.

Pros

NetCracker gives me a lot of freedom. Freedom to each and every employee to think creatively and provide suggestions for improvement. Employees in NetCracker are encouraged to think independently. Everyone's idea is appreciated, and anyone can submit an idea that can be discussed at length and can be implemented in the product, if it can fits in the product road-map. For those who are client focused, this company offers the right platform to everyone with potential to interact with client, gain knowledge, improve client satisfaction. The environment helps to create high caliber analysts & designers, technical architects, etc. Hard work and out of box thinking is always appreciated. Everyone gets opportunity. Good time-off policy, flexible office timing helps everyone.

Cons

Cost cutting hurts. Sometimes, the technical people are made to work more on less. The technical people have to give all sorts of explanation on why a certain (industry standard) tool is required, when it should be available to everyone by default. Windows 2007 is still a dream. Reactive policies and credit taking should be stopped. This is delaying implementation of all good practices and lessons learned. Nepotism hurts. Some of the travel policies are much below the standard industry policies. It hurts. When it comes to benefits, it stands no where near any of the good employers in the vicinity. The medical benefit is not good at all for married folks.
