      Pros

      NetCracker is overall a great place to work. The company is really dynamic and entrepreneurial in spirit. You can see how people in the higher positions have grown within the company, which is a great sign. They also emphasize all of the resources available to both Sales and delivery teams.

      Cons

      Can be challenging to keep up in the work environment, very fast-paced

      Pros

      Initial claims by new management that nothing would change for a period of time were valid - there were not immediate layoffs after the purchase of Convergys' IM business by Netcracker.

      Cons

      Netcracker bought Convergys' IM business in May 2012. Most of Netcracker development resources are located in Russia; significant Convergys IM resources are located in India. The writing was on the wall for all US-based development staff; RIFs started in late 2012 and continue to this day.

A culture of ownership Look to promote from within versus hire externally Driven to succeed Not a place for lords and ladies- all pull together from top to bottom Have striven to maintain a "small company" agility and attitude despite rapid growth

      Rapid growth causes organizational challenges that must be worked through Sheer momentum means employees have to be aggressive in "managing" upwards Sometimes slow decision making
