I came into the company via acquisition, and was unimpressed.
On the positive side, the company had a lot of name recognition in the industry and had impressive deal flow. Management was constantly hustling, and managed to strike a few good-looking deals which set the company on an upward trajectory.
Cons
The personalities of senior management were a problem. (The worst offenders are now gone.) The company/division I worked for was neglected, with senior staff let go or siphoned off into other roles, despite bringing in the bulk of the revenue to the company.
The company didn't seem to value talent, or understand technology. This may have changed since my time there, but outward indications are ambiguous at best.

Unique product and market, they've got a great team that enjoys having fun and (mostly) enjoy working together, reasonable pay and a good vacation policy, high demand for products and services.
Cons
Very high employee turn-over, sometimes grueling work schedule, demanding partners, unclear product road maps, overly rigid management hierarchy, development is more driven by business concerns and sales than employee or customer needs.
