Great Tech, Lousy Company as it grows

Pros

Nice tech and smart engineers in US and India. Good benefits (not pay).

Cons

Misers when it comes to paying salary or options/ shares. Google Netradyne H1B you can see base salaries they pay for engineers or managers. You have to demand from HR for improving your pay in the next review cycle. Not OK for those who live in expensive CA. CEO calls the shots everytime- made sense in a start-up but not anymore. Every group has its silos (and this is a small company) and there is lack of coordination. If you are 'in the know' you are safe and informed. Any small initiative has over 20+ folks in an email thread. Nuts!

Pros

We have the best product on the market, hands down. Everyone else in the space is selling crash cams and trying to exonerate their customers, whereas we work to save lives. Great work life balance, incredible perks. Leadership is empathetic and cares about everyone.

Cons

Like most startups, were going through growing pains of getting a ton of money and growing quickly. We could stand to continue to evaluate talent, and make sure that everyone that's here wants to be here.
