After a tedious interview process, my tenure was cut short and budget cuts resulted in being laid off by a Private Equity advisor I'd never met before. After the lengthy interview process I went through for the role and commitment I made to the company, I felt forgotten about by the HR team and my colleagues when I was let go after only 7 months.

co-workers feel like family, good pay for the area

Cons

No cohesive vision at all since being purchased by venture capitalists. Insurance is very expensive. No matching for 401k. Departments are disjointed and siloed. Unless you're a bootlicker, hard to move up. Some departments are essentially orphaned within the organization.
