Pros

The only pro I can think of is the sigh of relief that falls over me when I close my laptop, put my phone in airplane mode and disconnect from anything Netsmart related.

Cons

Cons? Read the reviews. The fact that the execs have to come on here and post obviously fake propaganda replies should tell you a lot. The rest of the reviews should tell you the remainder of the story. It's a disaster. The execs do not care about their staff at all. You are just here to make money and you will be replaced at their whim. They don't care about the software, the clients, or anything else except the next big merger or buy out or whatever else is going to line their pockets and please the board. Sales are slow, clients are unhappy and the employee base is miserable.

Cons

Pretty much everything is awful. Management is completely and totally inept, especially at an executive level. They are coasting on the former success, and accounts, of the old guard they constantly put down at any chance they get. Since they have shown up they have only managed to spend money, create vaporware or over priced garbageware, and hire gaggles of college students to give off the aura of "growth". If you have a problem, or a critical thought, no matter how right or based in logic it may be, you can't voice it or you will be labeled as a "trouble maker". The fear that permeates every meeting, sideshow "Town Hall", or other interaction with upper management is disgusting. If you don't tow the company line, you'll never get promoted or see any sense of a raise. Raises are few and far between anyway because money is only an issue when it comes to giving it to the rank and file. Wasting it on beer kegs, trips to the Caribbean, cheesy sentimental "we care" websites, and on bloated marketing efforts is totally fine however. Basically you better be a yes man or woman or find yourself another job. Which is exactly what most people with any talent are and have been doing. The only ones who stay are those kids who don't realize they are working in a nightmare of a company because they have no basis for comparison.
