Pros
This is a good job if you’re not looking for growth or much interaction with your boss. The position was remote, although they never made me feel comfortable that it would stay that way. It’s very easy to fly under the radar here, and there is opportunity to learn. Anything in life is what you make it.
Cons
The pay is 20-50% less than market, depending on your position. In HR, there was little budget to work with, and the VP of Ops fought against improving process, policies, and procedures mostly because he did not find any value in HR. (It’s not a revenue producing department) The leadership team is disappointing overall. Not because there is a lack of talent or knowledge, but because they aren’t given any autonomy to make improvements or hold people accountable. All decisions, including the approval of offer letters for most departments, go through the VP.
