Pros

There is reasonable job security

Cons

Siloed working environment as departments prefer to work independently to their own agendas rather than communicate freely. Greater value placed on strategizing rather than a deep understanding of existing processes and systems and what can and cannot feasibility be changed quickly or how systems actually work.

Pros

- good flexible working arrangements available (subject to what team you work in) - interesting projects you can get the opportunity to work on

Cons

- All about who you know not what you know, in order to get promotions or even a job in some cases - very understaffed, and the gaps are just filled with contracting staff on ridiculous rates
