Pros

- Great foundational experience in the railway industry - Experienced and passionate colleagues - Insight into project delivery - Wide stakeholder reach

Cons

- Wages stalled - no progression in two years, only way to get a payrise is to move roles - Promotion very dependent on who you know and if your personality clicks with senior management - Bureaucracy is overwhelming at points - Having to comply with central govt processes and adapt to political whims
