Great people, passionate about the railways, great work/life balance. Rewarding to work for an organisation that is delivering an essential service to the country and in the public eye. Great benefits.

Pros

Good pay, always more work to do when you ask for it. Great work/life balance. Huge prioritisation towards mental health.

Cons

Prepare to see the work you have done take years to implement. Seems like everyone complains about this issue. Prepare yourself for the huge amount of tax from your first payslip if you get the season ticket subsidy. Of course you make it back over the year though.
