Pros

Very few I can think of - Network Rail as a whole is a good employer, but AIS is only a good place to work if you're happy being treated as a number, rather than as a person who can offer value. There are genuine people there who care about others and the company, but they're generally swimming against the tide. The whole purpose of the business area is to turn the wheel.

Cons

- Micro-management from senior leader - Lack of strategic direction, within sub-org and as part of wider org - Poor treatment of staff and over-reliance on secondments/contracts - Poor communication

Pros

I honestly can't think of anything anymore.

Cons

No safety culture it's all about doing it cheaper and faster not about doing it right or safely. Pay is poor and management are nothing but bullies.
