Pros

- 28days annual leave plus bank holidays - Discounted rail travel - Career progression and a chance to move between different areas of the business - Excellent pay compared to most organisations, which is why people tend to stick about

Cons

- Working for such a large organisation you can sometimes feel undervalued for the work you actually do - There are a lot of people on excellent salaries who fail to deliver or just do the bare minimum to get by and it seems to go unchallenged - There is a lot of bureaucracy when working - It feels like if your face fits in certain teams then managers will create job opportunities for you and bypass interview processes.

Pros

The company constantly strives to be better. To improve passenger services and working environments.

Cons

Long term planning is poor and decisions not often thoroughly thought through.
