Pros

British railway is the largest, oldest and more complicated railway in Europe. The whole operation and maintenance are primarily controlled by Network Rail, Thus Network rail often face challenges and we always learn to over come this challenge. I have worked for Network rail 18 months which I proud of.

Cons

Too big to manage by one organisation. NR BIM system is not up to the standard and NRG is struggling to keep up with it.

Pros

Helps make a difference to people and communities and lots of things to get involved in

Cons

Sometimes can be traditional in ways of “that’s how things have always been done” and hard to change culture
