Pros

Stability, good salaries, good pension package, flexible working arrangements

Cons

Lack of diversity at top levels, a lot of empty talk about diversity but overall most senior people are very uniform background and gender wise. Lack of innovation and change in doing things. Not learning from past mistakes. Silo working culture with very little team like feel. Would not recommend it for a woman, mum engineer unless you want an easy job with very little required of you and no career progression options
