Pros
Teams operate fairly independently without much interference from middle management. Everyone is very helpful and makes themselves available for questions even if they are not on your team.
Cons
There is nearly zero hope of career advancement, which causes a lot of turnover. This is genuinely the only con. If there was a more structured ladder to advance, it would be a nearly perfect company to work for.
