Pros

Local management team truly cares about people, several great development programs, good hours, flexible scheduling, lots of paid holidays, community oriented, promotions are usually from within, sales goals are more reasonable than many other banks.

Cons

Nevada State Bank is a subsidiary of Zions Bancorporation making it a challenge at times for local management to act quickly on employee's concerns. Health insurance is average. Internal systems are antiquated making the operational nature of the job somewhat complicated. Zions is working on a new core processing system so hopefully that won't be an issue for much longer.

I have worked at Nevada State Bank for over 20 years! -Amazing people -Allows for work/family balance -In house Training department, provides all levels of training from Tellers on up. -Great Career Development programs available at ALL levels. -Branches located throughout the state -Engaged employees -Lines of communication open to Senior Management.
