- Projects are very challenging - Architecture is micro services oriented very easy to deploy and monitor them. - Awesome tech stack: Java, Kotlin, Go, Node, Elixir, Kafka. - Company culture is very diverse, many nationalities, fun and collaborative. English is the official language. - Salary and perks are very competivie - We can work from home any time we want in order to balance our personal life.

Cons

- Few. Perhaps, on-call duties. However, they are very easy and normally very well compensated.

Pros

New Relic hires friendly, motivated people and it really makes a difference. I have yet to encounter a “difficult” personality and everyone is out to help each other succeed. Lots of opportunities to work with cutting edge tech and it seems people are good about managing tech debt so we aren’t stuck with incomprehensible legacy software.

Cons

DevOps can be sort of a drag but I think that’s the case with any SaaS product. Kitchen in Portland is a bit crammed for as many people as there are, but the common area is amazing.

New Relic has an excellent leadership team, and a stellar engineering community with tons of opportunities to learn (internal lectures, conferences, etc) and move between teams. They offer great benefits, and are very flexible about remote work. I had a great experience here.

Cons

I don't have any complaints.
