Pros

-Great for learning about real estate -Earning potential used to be great, still better than most roles. -Fun environment on a team level -Made a ton of friends

Cons

-Disconnected Directors and Executives -The leadership is made up of generally good people, but there are a few bad eggs in high ranking positions. -Distrust amongst entire company, mass exit. No one trusts senior leadership. -Your pay can change at any moment without your input.

Pros

I enjoyed my time at New Western. Everyone is so willing to help, especially the more effort you put in. Even though everyone is an independent contractor, everyone collaborates and help out. They implemented a mentorship program, but its a little select on who gets picked.

Cons

The metrics are a little too high given the market. The shift has really left the company scrambling for agents to "pick up the slack" instead of admitting a deal wasn't as good as they projected. Management is constantly badgering agents to meet metrics. And even though you're an independent contractor, and only paid on commission, you can get let go if you're not hitting your numbers. Management sometimes pits agents against each other from time to time, causing a rift in morale.
