Pros

-Atmosphere and Culture: The work environment at New Western is highly positive, with a supportive atmosphere that encourages collaboration. The freedom to manage your schedule and approach to work is ideal, especially for those who enjoy autonomy. -Opportunity for Investors: For individuals who already have capital and are looking to expand their investment portfolios, this role offers valuable experience in building and managing investment teams.

Cons

-Competitive Market: The market is highly competitive, with many agents vying for the same opportunities. Much of the market has already been thoroughly explored, leaving fewer opportunities for new agents, especially when dealing with repeat buyers who are already aligned with top agents at the firm. -Challenging Pay Structure: The pay may not meet expectations. While the role is often presented with the potential for high earnings, the average agent may earn around $40k, with only top-performing agents with recurring buyers earning more. -Demanding Nature of the Job: The role can be quite draining and difficult. It’s heavily sales-oriented, with a significant focus on pushing properties onto potential buyers. This can be exhausting, especially if the rewards do not match the effort invested.

It’s great to know that the role offered valuable experience for investors looking to expand. It’s unfortunate that the competitive market and challenging pay structure didn’t fully meet your expectations.
