      Loved working for the NYPL until I moved into Development. Elitist, cubicle culture.

      Cons

      Elitist, cubicle culture. This was a transitional position but not long term career stuff. I didn't learn much in this position.

      Cons

      its a nonprofit so salary is slightly lower than for-profit alternatives, but they actually pay very well compared to other nonprofits.
