Pros

Wonderful colleagues, relaxed atmosphere, you work for the most important media outlet to our democracy

Cons

HIGHLY political, promotions near-impossible and communication from upper management always comes in piece meal; flexible seating = no seat ever.

Pros

I work with some of the smartest, most interesting people from so many different backgrounds. Mission driven so at the end of the day, I feel really good about the kind off work we do.

Cons

Work can be disrupted or hectic depending on the news cycle. This is exciting but also exhausting.
