Inappropriate President and political environment
Pros
Great co-workers who try their best on a daily basis. Friendly office environment. This is a good place to learn new skill sets if you choose as there is a wealth of sales and marketing tools at your disposal. The office is conveniently located within lots of restaurants and shopping plazas.
Cons
New Management is inappropriate, finds the opportunity to brag to female colleagues about personal acquired wealth. Management can’t focus in and doesn’t try to understand the details and challenges, while cuts you off abruptly with broken English. Difficult to have in depth discussions with. Not just that, but simply the e-commerce experience is not there, and the understanding of the digital and competitive landscape is almost none. Out of no where, New Management comes straight from China and ousted two former Chief Officers. This goes to illustrate how political the company is. HR is afraid to report on behavior, and recently its head of HR quickly packed bags and left. We don’t see this company turning around especially with the new leadership team having come straight from China with no real relatable experience. New Management is surrounded with Cantonese speaking, all Chinese entourage. Some are survivors at the company and the others are skilled in the abilities of whispers and politics with no tangible contributions to show for. They are not highly regarded by most people in the company, as sales have not improved since they held their roles. Sales continues to fall dramatically. Lots of resignations left and right. There are no signs of improvement,
