No clear structure; the current 'structure' doesn't make sense. Staff reporting to people in other countries, having no idea who to turn to with other queries/issues.
No clear processes, or standards of working.
No recognition or appreciation.
No clear communication.
No staff culture, engagement, or wellbeing initiatives. Barely a benefits package.
Worst HR team I've ever come across. Never see them either - down to 2/3 people across the whole UK.
Management don't have a clue.
All brands/departments are so disconnected and don't communicate - not living up to the 'One Newell' value.
Staff are unhappy/miserable and just putting up with it. You’re made to feel like a problem if you mention an issue.
So much dead weight in terms of staff. Most of which get away with doing nothing then still somehow get promoted and a pay rise while the people that actually work hard are ignored.
Random, long-winded job titles leaves you wondering what they actually do.
Never any budget for anything but love to throw money down the drain at the same time.
Pay is less than competitive.
No training and development.
Don't care about the staff/individuals.
Too many cooks involved over complicating everything. Too many hoops to jump through to get anything done.
No changes or improvements since I've been here.
Piles on extra work on someone if a team member leaves with no promotion or pay rise, just the expectation to fill in. Get told it will be reviewed, only to never hear back.
Company intranet out of date and not fit for purpose or user friendly.
Favouritism.
Cliquey.
Close offices and tell staff to work from home without proper communication or even understanding if they're able to work from home, with no other option offered.
They use clunky, hard to use software/platforms.
No consistency with anything.
Due to being an American company, the UK, and probably other countries, feel like a second or third thought.
Poor choices costing the business money, no thought into changing certain processes.
Backwards. Just a joke of a company, the worst I’ve ever worked for. If I could give zero stars, I would.
