If you like to be busy, this is the place for you. Never a dull moment in live TV news production. Fast growing, lots of opportunity for those that show initiative...ability and results are metrics most valued. Management is open to hearing ideas from every level within the organization. Newsmax is in a hyper-growth phase, so everyone needs to pitch in and help...corporate titles can be a bit fluid at times but can lead to great opportunities to learn and grow.

Cons

Live TV production can be stressful and it's not for everyone. Not a typical 9-5 job. Newsmax is growing very quickly, and those that can't keep up, are often left behind.

Pros

Autonomy and the ability to take on projects that you are interested in. Yes, there are times when we are extremely busy and times that we are not, but that is the news cycle for you.

Cons

I have been a CMO elsewhere for more than 6 years, have built up several companies and even raised millions for other companies. I would like to do more for Newsmax, but it is difficult to add to your duties if not the idea of management first.
