Pros

Welcoming employees Professional workplace, almost old school for the media industry Supportive managers Ability to present ideas and approaches to business

Cons

Many employees have been there for decades and do not bring any outside experience Management should feel confident in shaking up the troops and bringing in new blood at all levels, not just senior management.

Pros

It was once a great company with excellent editors and writers as well as first-rate pay and benefits.

Cons

If you do not embrace left-wing politics keep that a secret. Your career will come to a grinding halt if you happen to mention that you didn't vote for Obama, don't support gay marriage or the so called BLM movement.
