Pros

None really. The place was so unorganized. The team leadership had no experience and they hired under qualified people.

Cons

They made their goals based on nothing. They hired people based on salary. They should hire quality employees.

Pros

Friendly, smart people. Decent work/life balance. Decent facilities. Heavily discounted cable TV benefit since company is owned by Cablevision.

Cons

Management changes in the past year have led to unfair practices towards subscribers. Short term revenue gains may eventually backfire as the company loses the trust of the community - not good for a local newspaper. While digital media is the future, they are hastening the demise of the print product, which still earns them 90% of revenue. Long term, entrenched employees are favored over more qualified ones. Many people are overworked and over stretched.
