Still respected overseas and to some degree in US with many talented reporters and a smart, well meaning top editor, Nancy Cooper

Cons

A business model that unintentionally promotes clickbait plus legal and financial troubles that are almost unheard of in journalism.

An editorial team striving to do good work and energize a dying publication.

Cons

If they’re making money it is on the legacy name and “Best x in America” scheme. Sales/ Partnerships has few takers. No partnerships. Best people are pushed out and inept creatives are called VPs. CEO is just weird and still “culty”.

None that I can even think of, even if I were asleep.

Cons

Let's call it what it is. It was a Sieg heil! Newsweek is so scared of any backlash that they'll be sheep. They should be scared, because no subscribers will stand by their reporting. Not even their own employees if that says anything. It's just a matter of time that their Newsweek offices get raided yet again. No wonder they're embraced remote work and AI, can't find blame too easily now huh. Move on!
