Pros

Ann Arbor location makes an effort to foster a fun and engaging environment. Casual atmosphere, and approachable project leads are nice. Great for entry-level employees, plenty of opportunities to learn.

Cons

Senior management seems to be a bit illusive (except for CEO). Some practices seem questionable at that level. No 401k match, no increase in PTO for employees that have been with the company longer. Wages aren't very competitive. Limited opportunities for growth.

Pros

100% US based technology services company with a real respect for true Agile development, nurturing technology "athletes" as they call them, and sharing that expertise with colleagues and clients. People here tell me that they are really impressed with the calibre and generosity of the directors who run the various technology and client practices. New CEO and Chief Delivery Officer have really increased the transparency and process orientation of the company. Benefits program rewards people who look after their health.

Cons

Starting salaries for junior developers are not top of market, but in fairness this reflects an expectation that the company is going to invest a LOT in training and developing both technical and soft skills in your first couple years on the job. People can double their salaries fairly quickly if they are keen to learn.

Good place to get started

Pros

Hire and train a lot of beginner developers and QA. Management is very good at supporting and developing employees. Great place for learning Agile, opportunity to work with various clients in different sectors.

Cons

High turnover, a lot of demands on senior developers and QA. Seems especially vulnerable to economic changes due to the client contract nature of the business model over reliance on a few clients and partners.
