-lack of opportunities for long term growth within department -very poor compensation -lack of challenging/interesting work -lack of investment in marketing -lack of direction in marketing strategy -lack of innovation in marketing strategy -lack of strong leadership in marketing department -lack of efficiency (slow progress on simple projects, too many people opining on minor decisions)
