Pros

The co-workers are a hoot to work with. It helps makes the day go by faster and makes life so much easier when you have good co-workers.

Cons

Managers all walk around with their ideas, each of them not thinking them out fully and some don't know how to plan properly. Some of the managers walk around glassy eyed because they don't know what they're supposed to do. Pay isn't great, and there's no room to improve. You can work 56 hours a week to get your job done and still not have it completed. No one knows what the others are supposed to do, management styles are skewed.

Pros

Nice work environment. Nice people to work with. Opportunities to move up in company. Always promote from within.

Cons

Does not have good pay. Only give 25 cent raises and those are only given once every six months to a year. CEO told us that the only way we would be able to make any real money is if we went to an oilfield company, so as far as pay goes unless you plan on working at a second job or unless you live with someone that makes more money than you, this would not be the company to go for. You really would be better off going to another company. The hours are also either extremely early in the morning for the morning show (2am-10am) or extremely late for the night show (2pm-11pm). It is a fun environment, but I would say research broadcasting companies and ask questions about pay and raises before settling on one as a job.

Isolation in Dallas

Pros

Good people at local level.

Cons

Poor pay. Decisions made in Dallas with little input from station managers and without any regards to rollout. Corporate pushed hard to sell flawed products.
