Great Company | Poor Sr. Management
Pros
The company itself is a great place to work at. Good benefits and pay is current with the market. The job is tedious and demanding but very rewarding because the effort is recognized by your client and division.
Cons
I can only speak from my very real and current situation as an employee of the company. Current supervisor has poor management skills and only reinforces negative responses, never anything positive. She is a micro aggressive, micro manager, who bullies her Team into calling her and texting even when off or if she sends a message on the weekends and no one responds (because we have a life outside of work and families to attend too) she will scold you the next work day. She treats and talks to everyone on her team as if we are her children. Weekly meetings seem to be set only to shame and degrade our Team which is mostly filled with young women about how we dress to the point where it is borderline harassment. If you try to speak up she will retaliate. The work environment is the most toxic environment I have ever worked in. I am learning all I can learn and moving on because the list goes on with issues with this manager. My co-workers are fed up and so am I. I would love to work in another position in the company away from her because I do see myself growing with the company and I know the other managers are motivators with excellent communication skills. Not all managers are created equal but no one should be subject to feeling depressed to go to work because there is always an issue that has nothing to do with your actual client.
