Pros
The work is interesting and great. You get reasonable autonomy and responsibility at work. Have met some really nice people as colleagues.
Cons
Location - not the most ideal. Embarrassingly limited number of menu options in the cafeteria. A lot of its management and processes are old-school and slow. Not very agile, specially in the context of software development. Nexteer was known to be a company that takes care of its employees, but not anymore. I have seen 3 layoffs in the past 2 years, with the last one being almost a 35% reduction. Fundamentally, it is just not doing well from a business stand-point, and the outlook does not look great. Hopefully it gets better in the future.
