Pros

The fastest growing and largest privately held hosted telecommunications company allows its outside sales people to truly be the CEOs of our territory.

Cons

The organization is not yet equipped to support an enterprise teams' sales efforts. due to being spread a bit thin on projects.

Pros

Good Benefits. Health insurance is good for the current market.

Cons

The management is very negative and focuses on what you are doing wrong (versus what you are doing correctly) and no guidance on how to fix it. Training employees in AM department is greatly lacking.

Work Life Balance

Pros

I have been working for Nextiva for over a year now and of all my previous employers I feel that Nextiva have the whole work-life balance thing sorted. We are working hard while we are at work, and it’s focused on a specific outcome and our team’s goal’s but when we leave at the end of the day I’m not thinking about work. It’s actually been amazing and I really feel that I work even better because of this. There is much more productivity when you’re not stressed and burnt out. I think this is something that they train the managers on to ensure that there aren’t huge imbalances of work between the different teams, and If they need more help then there are more resources applied, or work is shared among teams. It’s more fluid and ensures that the team is successful in the long term.

Cons

Sometimes work is moved to other teams due to changes in priorities, new deadlines etc. etc. and this can be disruptive. I understand why it needs to be done but there is a sort of feeling of ownership when you’ve started something. Sometimes I don’t enjoy passing it off to be completed by someone else.
