My journey with NexusTek has been one of transformation, resilience, and trust. As a young parent with limited resources, I stepped into the company at a time when the odds were stacked against me. I started with lower compensation after leaving high-paying federal contracts, but what NexusTek offered was more valuable than a paycheck—it was an opportunity to prove myself. The leadership team saw potential in me when others might not have, trusting me enough to take a chance. Through programs like the NexusTek Leadership Academy and the Master Class Leadership Academy, I gained not only technical expertise but also the patience and vision required to lead. Their mentorship and belief in my abilities helped me navigate the challenges of balancing family, finances, and ambition. Over the years, I’ve grown from a Engineer to Information Security Officer, leading a team that operates at the forefront of cybersecurity. Together, we are building the most advanced Security Operations Center, blending cutting-edge automation, AI, and offensive tools to defend against global cyber threats. NexusTek didn’t just give me a job they gave me a platform to thrive, inspiring me to aim higher and dream bigger. Today, as we stand at the edge of transforming the security landscape, I owe much of this success to the trust and guidance of those who believed in me from the start. Together the past 10 years of my life I have spent learning that I do not have a career at NexusTek, I have so much more. Through Leadership helped give me a life, discover not only value in myself but took the time to teach me skills that I will now pass on to my kids for generations that will benefit them in ways never before available. For this I am eternally grateful and will give 100% to the lives we have built, fostered, and protected. Thank you, I cannot wait to see what we accomplish together next!
