      Pros

      nice coworkers. casual dress programs. working at a top class market research company. nielsen is a well known name (prestige).

      Cons

      way too big. more managers than needed. groups aren't given all the "people resources" needed, so working understaffed most of the time. pointless initiatives are frequently rolled out that create more work with little to no benefit. lower than competitive pay. a lot of jobs have been outsourced, to a lower quality of work.

      Pros

      Its a good place to gain work experience as many projects/research are done on a large scale. Recognition is good if job is a client facing role.

      Cons

      Salary and other benefits are not good. The value of new employees with same number of years experience is better as compared to current employees.
