Pros

The tone for every workplace is set at the top and trickles down. Leadership is on the ball and always ready and available when needed. For the most part, there is a "let's get it done" mentality with hardly any micromanaging, which I prefer. Fellow developers are also very helpful and willing to lend a hand when needed. One of the best parts is being fully remote. Really can't say enough good things about Ninja.

Cons

The work passed off to developers can sometimes be a bit vague and open to interpretation, probably more-so on the UI side of things.

Great & refreshing software company

Pros

Ninja has been a great and refreshing software company to work for. You actually do make an impact from Week 1. You get to work with dedicated knowledgable and kind team members who believe in quality. You get to collaborate with management to understand the vision and direction of their products. Even at a rapidly growing company, the CEO and the rest of management continues to stay involved in projects, making it easier to understand the value in what you're delivering to customers. Teams are not siloed. The company is constantly iterating and delivering to make an outstanding product. Work/life balance is great thanks to well-managed projects (that are both interesting & challenging), they value the work you deliver and you will be rewarded for your hard work.

Pros

Ninja is no longer a startup but still, the collaboration and environment have not changed. All people in the company are eager to help others. The environment is really amazing and anyone is welcomed from the first day. For employees outside of the U.S. the salary is out of bounds of the current threshold. Having unlimited PTOs is a huge benefit that a few companies offer and Ninja has offered this even before the covid-19 pandemia. Since Ninja has been developing new products, the engineering team has had new challenges to play out. New technology stack has been added. New architecture proposals have been heard. Hence, your voice and experience are appreciated and welcomed. However, Ninja is a place for team players instead of rockstarts.

Cons

Since we have grown faster than we thought in the last couple of years, communication has struggled a little. It's not bad but has been difficult to be on top of the effort and things other teams are building. More benefits than salary can be offered to people outside of the U. S. Management can give more frequent feedback to employees.
