- Work-life Balance - Flexible in WFO / WFA - People have positive vibes and nice work culture - Nice place for career growth - Competitive Salary - Easy approval for Paid Overtime & Annual leave

Cons

- Engineer on boarding system still not covering what new employee needs - There is midnight on call schedule for software engineer - Interview process quite challenging - No annual bonus based on company income / achievement / growth

Pros

I have just come out from "move fast, break things" culture induced by my former boss who was a facebooker. I need to adapt myself to the old-school way of doing things. Before this, I was a follower TDD and agile, the XP flavor, not SCRUM flavor. Being a risk-averse company focused on cyber-security, the nature of this company suits me better: 1. Seriously care about automated tests 2. Every developer expected to do end to end testing (shift left testingJ) 3. QA Automated Regression Tests 4. Code review with high attention to detail 5. Devs has no access to write to production DB

Cons

Some practices can still be improved: 1. Dev-Ex (Deployment pipeline) 2. Observability 3. Low risk / safe revert (including feature flag) Yes, I know they are facebook-ey, but they are still useful to a risk-averse company. MTTA and MTTR is important metrics to track too.

Great environment for engineers who enjoy technical challenges. The system continues to grow in both scale and complexity, providing ongoing opportunities to solve meaningful problems. Highly competent and supportive team. There is a strong culture of collaboration, and it’s easy to learn from peers across different areas. Continuous improvement across multiple engineering aspects, including security, code reviews, QA processes, and overall productivity. Strong place for career growth. High performers are generally recognized, especially when working on visible initiatives.

Cons

Presence of technical debt due to legacy systems. While there are ongoing efforts to address it, these initiatives are sometimes deprioritized, causing recurring issues when the debt accumulates. Meeting load can impact productivity. While the communication is great and necessary, some discussions could be handled more effectively through asynchronous channels. Long-term strategy is generally clear, but short-term priorities tend to shift frequently, which can affect focus and execution consistency.
