Fantastic European based company focused on skills and culture without the overly overt, necessity of degrees and diversity requirements seen with may other U.S. based companies. Great benefits, bleeding edge product and great people.

Cons

None. Just don't confuse HMD with actual Nokia. (Networks)

Benefits! Vacation: A new hire immediately gets a vacation bank of 80 hours Vacation, 40 Hours of Floating and 80 Hours of Family Health (sick, bereavement etc) without needed to accrue. Every year of service gets you more Vacation days. With 5 years I have 200+ hours of vacation. 401K match: Nokia matches $for$ upto 8% of total cash compensation. Vesting period is 4 years Phone: Employees get free phones (latest devices) with Voice & Data plans Home Office: DSL/Cable Internet subsidized. Some flexibility but cons outweigh this pro.

Cons

Toxic culture filled with hostility, gossips, toxic competition, and favoritism. Be willing to work at odd timezone differences of more than 12 hours, so you will have to be ready for a 2 am or a 3 am meeting. The pay is below national average, and you will not get a raise despite inflation. Management does not care about you and it is a kiss a**, political culture with zero integrity. Life’s too short to work at this kind of toxic environment!
