Pros

Free lunch, great health insurance package, clean environment, nice people

Cons

All benefits excluding health insurance are pretty much bad. They really need to change this. Corporate culture is the worst here. Upper management only care about themselves and everything works according to their favor. It's fully controlled by their HQ in Korea, so there's no innovation since Rancho HQ operates according to Korea HQ directions. No room for growth.

Pros

they have 401k They got good medical insurance

Cons

The management of this company is just mess, mid managers have no clue other than say yes to the top. Benefit, promotion, salary discrimination is part of the company's culture between U.S hired employee and employees from Korea. They often hire and positioned people based on favoritism not for their experience. This company has good products but terrible management.

Pros

Full time Diverse Personnel Innovation and Creativity Welcoming Nature By Koreans Rich Traditions that Characterize Korean Culture

Cons

Management of 15 years of experience, does not exemplify effective leadership. During my tenure in this role, I felt excessively micromanaged. Management was aware that I had not received adequate training for my position, yet she made false promises about potential job security and advancement. Her constant criticism over minor mistakes created a stifling atmosphere, leading me to take on numerous tasks for minimal pay without raising complaints until I felt compelled to speak up. Labor coordination had become a toxic environment, demonstrating that years of experience mean little without humility and a supportive approach to leadership. I am sharing to raise awareness about the negative impact of such management practices. My position made it nearly impossible to succeed, as I felt trapped under a toxic boss, which ultimately led to my dismissal. My engagement and mood deteriorated significantly over time, and despite my repeated requests for training and resources, I was consistently denied the support that would have allowed me to thrive. It felt as though I was set up for failure. Though I was presented with the opportunity to be hired on, I often felt confined, akin to being in a jail cell. I firmly believe that without a strong work ethic and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment, meaningful change cannot occur. However, it is essential to highlight that my overall experience at Nongshim had its positives. The Korean personnel were incredibly caring and affectionate toward me, and I developed a strong appreciation for Korean culture as a Latin American.
