Flexible schedules, independence and self motivation

Cons

Either swamped with work or nothing to do. QC personnel all have BS in science although aren’t treated like they have degrees. Demand is high for QC but respect is low.

Cons

extremely toxic place. Management team are absolute headhunters- selectively of course. Promotions all over outside Operations, unless your family or a good ole boy you can forget it as an operator. 2 major layoffs in 4 years and both were only about the people they didn't like and not about company vision and we are paying for it now letting knowledgeable operators go. Well over 100 + years of knowledge combined between the people they let go and replaced them with green new guys ( no offense towards them ).
