Pros

Great place if you are a great sales person and you enjoy people. You don't have to wear the clothes like most fashion retailers just have to be presentable and fashionable. Nordstrom gives you all the tools to ensure you can provide the best customer service.

Cons

Long hours, not aware of the Canadian labour laws. They have Americans running the Canadian stores.

Pros

This is a company that is proactive and reactive to employee concerns - much appreciated in this regard Compensation is great Although it is hard to get it right consistently (like anywhere) it builds a good culture of caring for their employees and trying to do what's best for customers Great opportunities to grow with the company

Cons

no work/life balance favouritism
