Pros

there were a lot of pros working for Nordstrom. one of the things i liked best about the company was the commission program.

Cons

there are really no downsides to working for Nordstrom. just like any other job- do your job and everything will be OK. what i do wish is if they had a health insurance program for part time workers.

Good company until it got too political

Pros

20 years ago it taught good work ethic. Taught me how to sink or swim in a sales position. Gave me opportunity to grow and work in many different departments.

Cons

Now company doesn't teach employees good customer service skills. Company is now more focused on politics within the company than they are focused on employee retention and customer service

Pros

like i said, people there are really great. the works fun. pretty good discount too.

Cons

it's probably because I was hired temporarily, but they cut my hours to once a week.
