Pros

Flexible scheduling, dependable commission based income, great coworkers, supportive work environment, fast-paced work day. It's a company with a great reputation, that people are proud to be a part of.

Cons

Promotions are not readily available to everyone - quite a bit of favoritism and politicking go into getting a promotion.

Pros

Nordstrom does hire fun and great people to work with, you will become friends with some of your colleagues as there is a mutual camaraderie

Cons

Nordstrom does not value education at all, if you are an employee that is not selling you will feel unimportant, even employees in critical functions that don't sell receive very little recognition from the company.
