Pros

pay is better then most places in retail, discount is nice, the customers are generally friendly

Cons

work can get repetitive, some customers can be extremely difficult and use nordstrom's customer service reputation to get their way

-relatively flexible scheduling -good pay working on commission, esp for holiday -career path if desired -amazing benefit packages

-long shifts -tasks can be tedious

Pros

good pay structure if you like a lot of OTs great employee discounts and you get first dip on marked downs good health benefits

Cons

Hard to get a bonus if your dept sales number sucks you're basically the head stock person got a store manager who's a micro manger and expects everybody to work, yet she's always on some sort of days off to attend to random events like sickness, funerals...etc etc blah blah blah
