      Pros

      Non-salaried employees there were like one giant family.

      Cons

      The plant was closed and moved to TN and Mexico by Nortek. If your plant get's bought by Nortek expect to lose your job within a few years.

      Pros

      Great team atmosphere amongst the engineering team. We worked on great new cutting edge technology for the HVAC world and had lots of freedom with our design.

      Cons

      Engineering caught all of the blame from production of any thing went wrong. Most of the deadlines that were set were unreasonable and required lots of extra time spent trying to meet those deadlines. No backbone from upper management who were in talks directly with customers. They acted as total yes men which caused many many changes to designs all while deadlines didn’t change.
