      Intellectually challenging, with plenty of opportunity to exercise problem-solving skills due to ineptitude of leadership. Compensation is competitive for the area, other than for sodtware developers. Prime location in Carlsbad CA

      Cons

      Inept leadership, entrenched and unimaginative middle management, low-energy environment, outdated manufacturing facilities, no discernable strategy, ad hoc prioroties, burdensome internal processes, lack of organic product development necessitating foolish acquisitions.

      Good people to work with at lower and middle management levels in the divisions. Some interesting product categories across company that with the right strategies can be leveraged.

      Cons

      Senior leadership at HQ and board were focused on selling company rather than investing in he brands, innovation, or organizational capabilities. The company is in a very weak position and will require significant investment by new owners to turn it around.
