Pros
Convenient to public transportation on both the subway and bus. Good benefits and salary.
Cons
My cons are directly related to the department I used to work in and not the institution itself. My position in the department was terminated without advance notice and I was not offered a transfer to another position on campus. Other colleges and universities in the Boston area attempt to reassign soon to be displaced staff. I believe the senior manager in my department did not follow human resource recommendations or protocol in my case.
