Pros
There are a lot of really great people working at Northeastern, and a number of departments are loaded with young professionals that are bringing in new perspectives and innovative approaches to everyday tasks and frequent concerns.
Cons
Human Resources does a fairly poor job with nearly everything. Salary negotiations are fairly torturous, the review process tends to diminish individual achievements and therefore a chance for a bonus, and salaries fall at the low ends of the grades. Also, as an internal staff member, you are not allowed to apply for an internal job for at least a year even if you're qualified and the next job in your career path opens up... that is such a ridiculous, archaic policy.
