      Quick learner able to remain on feet for long periods of time

      Being rushed at times to do a job is sometimes frustrating for me, But i adapt.

      Until the last few months, it was a tolerable place to work. Long history in the automotive business.

      Pros

      Some of the people that work at the company are pretty decent. I enjoyed most of the Plant Managers I worked for until the last one.

      Cons

      The past year, the V.P.'s and the new bosses they hired have driven this company into the ground. No raises for years, No 401k contributions. It is a very 'Nazi' like atmosphere. If you speak your mind, you're in danger of losing your job. One hand doesn't know what the other is doing most of the time, as the bosses don't grasp the logic behind certain things. Truly sad that incompetence is kept and rewarded by the new management people.

      Pros

      Close to my home, hard working employees that want to make a difference.

      Cons

      Upper management is in over their heads. Salaries are extremely uncompetitive, the work environment is stressful. Negotiate a strong salary when you apply, because once you are hired you will not get any sort of raise for years at a time. Northern Engraving is understaffed throughout the business and is unable to bring in talent from the surrounding area. Stress level is extremely high as you will be overworked.
