Pros

- Competitive Pay - Good health insurance - Overall decent enough culture - Acceptable work/life balance

Cons

- Zero advancement opportunity in IT department - Doctors are extremely rude no matter what, even though you're only trying to help them - Being on call is terrible - Pay tops out very quickly and you only get about a .25 cent raise per year after that - Very busy, so little to no time for cross training, which creates skill vacuums whenever someone is sick or on vacation - You get a lot of PTO, but, you do NOT get paid holidays, so you have to use PTO for each holiday. Also, it's a hospital and you will get sick, A LOT, so there's goes another big chunk of your PTO.
